Theres a microbrewery 5 minutes away from me and they have a little shop on site and i was passing today so decided ito call in. Really nice chap in there, explaining to me what they make, the different types of 'beer' they make and it turns out he brews his own at home too!

Will be going there in the week to buy some as it smells lovely! Like i say only a small place but if your in the area pop in and have a look.

Its the Blue Monkey Brewery in Giltbrook, just behind the ikea retail park.

That is all

smells lovely? Well I can tell you right now it tastes lovely too!!!

Although to be fair I've only tried "99 Red Baboons" and it was well... lets just say the glass didn't stay full for long. :thumb: :drink:

I saw the BG Sips at our village beer festival recently but it put me off trying it as I hate PG Tips tea bags  - I should have tried it probably

My favourite of their's is Infinity. Really nice well balanced Golden bitter. Made with Citra I think I read somewhere but certainly not an overpowering Hop Monster.

I wonder what yeast they use :hmm:

Had the BG Sips and 99 Red Babboons at Nottingham Beer Festival and both were very nice.

They have won many awards in a short space of time. My favourite brewery in Nottinghamshire
