I had now chance to taste the original Punk IPA, so I thought it would be a good idea to make it myself.
I didn't bought the book for the Punk though, as I already had the brewdog pdf.
Tent, when I was younger, motor home was the next step, meanwhile I fly there by helicopter and rent a house on the festival area.
Sometimes I throw my empty Champagne bottles at those motor home suckers
This is every year so and people leave there tents behind on purpose ;)
It's almost on every European festival the same. some support homeless people, other help refugees or people in disaster areas. I left my first tent behind in 2004
Hm, the book says the author collected the information directly from the breweries. So who lied, the author claiming the information is from the brewery or the brewery giving the wrong recipes.
So I'll keep it and taste test some of the recipes. Taste is more important than originality.
I had a look at the Craft Brew book from Ferguson. I was interessted in the Punk IPA recipe and compared it with the DIY Dog pdf and they differ.

Sorry, I'm brain dead at the moment
No raise in temp (that's what Trump/Clinton voters do)
Secondary same temp as primary fermentation (12C) for 2 weeks
Lagering a.k.a. conditioning:
Standard: 4 weeks 3C
Super conditioning: 1 week 5C, 1 week 2C, 2 weeks 0C
Never heard of the the 2. conditioning method with stepped cooling...
But you don't have to, o this point is not valid.
And yes, from a cost point of view it is much to expensive and doesn't make any sense for me. If they would sell it for 15.- I would think about it as a backup solution for busy times.
But I think (without offending anybody) the high price for...
