Not happy that the general public could watch iPlayer catch-up without a licence have now made it illegal, now you have to pay to sift through the crap to find something decent to watch.

I cancelled my TV license a year ago, only ever use Netflix now. Had to fill in a form verifying this, and theres been at least one spot check to ensure I've not been fibbing.

The BBC documentaries are more than good. You should watch German telly to so how good Auntie beep really is ;)

went years with no tv when kids were small

dinner would last longer, sat round the table chatting. then get a game out. oh the laughs we ever had.

Now just pay for amazon prime and watch some good tv shows and a few films. Got better things to do.

Dont think anyone on their death beds have ever said " wish i had watched more TV"

After years of watching endless repeats at Christmas the Beeb can now charge people for watching endless repeats all year round!
I pay the licence but still think they have nerve charging people to watch repeats on line , should be part of teh service and free to others also, they are not going to get rich from this!

Just stick adverts on there and sell advertising during the show i.e. someone drinks a brewdog bottle instead of a made up one, and then get rid of the licence fee.

i got amazon prime for £59 and the best thing is no advert breaks. No adds at all. fantastic!

I record everything i watch so never watch adverts, i also do not listen to commercial radio as their adverts are the most irritating.

.

After many years of not bothering to buy a TV licence SWMBO came to live me! :thumb:

One day, as a surprise present, she bought me a brand new TV from Comet, gave them our address ...

... and was made to pay for the TV licence from that moment onwards!
