Do you suffer with haze Clint when using Oats ? I’ve used them a couple of times and whilst improving head and body I get haze. Not that it matters , but you know .

Just catching up on this thread. Interesting comments about the bittering additions. I’ve based this around a GH single Hop ale from his book. He actually goes in with 54g of Amarillo at start of boil. I’ll load this into BF later and play around with it. Brewing tomorrow .

I use a PECO and get 22-24l into my FV. Pull my Grain bag out and sit it on a metal grill within a bottomless bucket and then sparge with pre heated water to about 27l dependent on batch size. Simples.

I didn’t lower the sugar as such. I brewed a Raspberry Wheat beer earlier this year and followed the brewers friend calculator for a wheat beer. No bottle bombs !

That’s been my problem - two son in laws that have a acquired a taste for my home brew. Coupled with friends you can soon crash through a batch. I’m building up stocks at the moment, so squirrelling it away until summer.
