Mine were both 1.6 petrol (I do very low annual miles). I think the CEED is the pick of the bunch and gets great reviews. You should test drive one. As I said the build quality is superb - way better than Renault and peugeot. My next car will probably be a Toyota, if my P Bonds come up.!
