    Brewing shed insulation

Is there a part I'm missing here at the end?

    Brewing shed insulation

How have you insulated outdoor sheds for keeping FVs and the such? I don't want it chilled or hot, but if I can somehow keep it at a steady 18-22°C ie around 20 I'd be happy with that. And is there a minimum size for a shed that can be reasonably controlled?

    More sparge water or less?

Yes, this equation is what I meant. I mean, I know what sparging is for, it makes sense to have a decent quantity to ensure its washed off but at the same time, might have a negative impact if you then have to boil off more for longer.

    More sparge water or less?

I was just confused as to why people might want a stronger mash diluted by a large sparge (150% water from sparge) or more dilute mash with a smaller sparge (60% water from sparge). Like what difference this made, or no difference at all, just different tactic and probably same end result. I...

    More sparge water or less?

I'm not really sure how this answers my question.

    More sparge water or less?

Everywhere I read that sparge water should be 1.5x the quantity of the mash water and yet the Brewfather app is saying the quantity of sparge water I should use is less, only 60% of the mash water quantity. Which is it?

    What makes it all-in-one?

I listened to the Brulosophy podcast episode on that, really interesting. It just requires that the brew is much smaller than the max volume to ensure a well dissolved liquor.

    Choosing hops: match or contrast?

Thanks, I'll go with cluster. Rye is only 1/6th of the bill, so hopefully that won't happen. As for large amounts of fruit, I'm undecided on the exact amount but I'm not a big fan of super fruity beers, I just want to give it blackberry notes, which I may have to ask about. I was going to purée...

    Choosing hops: match or contrast?

So I'm looking to make a beer with blackberries and rye. Apparently Cluster have a spicy, blackberry character, but would this be too much with blackberries and rye (which is a little spicy)? Should I try contrasting it with a hop with a different (although not clashing like citrus) aroma? It's...

    Rye porter?

Thanks, that helps me with scaling on brewfather. Currently test batching in 10L quantities to split into two 5L/1 gal batches.

    Rye porter?

Thanks, I'll give it a try! If I were kegging, would you recommend a different quantity of conditioning sugar, if I wasn't force co2ing? Also what final volume is this based on?

Boris Johnson Warns Of Need To 'Endure' High Energy Bills To Defeat 'Evils Of Putin'

The February Revolution in Russia saw the masses walk across a frozen river to protest. If the conditions are bad enough, the weather stops being a barrier.

    Rye porter?

I'm interested in making a rye porter but no recipe I've found has been reviewed or rated so I don't know if they're any good. Can someone recommend one they know has worked out?

Small batch brewing with 30L all in 1 systems?

Good point, thank you. I think I've decided on this one (as seemingly the only one on the market that goes this small)

Small batch brewing with 30L all in 1 systems?

Not sure if I missed it but did you have to modify it in any way or does the grain basket just go deep enough?

I'll have a look at this video later, thank you.

    What makes it all-in-one?

Ooo I felt that, that must have been soul crushing. What FV did you get?

    What makes it all-in-one?

Thanks! This will save me a penny to save up for a SS FV eventually.
