    Covid Passports

It doesn't look like many of you will agree with me but my thoughts are regards to pub vaccine passports are. First no pub will require it unless the law (or what ever the restrictions and fines are) says they need to. If pubs are opening in under 6 weeks indoors there is no way hardly any...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I saw this about it a while ago, skip to 10.30 for the relevant bit I have no idea how true it is but this guy did call alot of things months before the government and MSM if you look at videos from Jan & Feb 2020 but also was advocating HCQ for ages which I think turned out to be a dud.

Kegerator Gas Supply - on or off?

In my micro pub I have always left it on and only gone through about 4 bottles in about 2 years (not including being closed in lockdown) but in Feb I made a batch of home brew put into 2 cornies it was fine for a week then over night, cylinder empty and must be a leak because theres no pressure...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

After thinking about it and looking at the source again its not actually that worrying. The source says this 1/3rd re admitted was only 4 times higher than would be expected based on "exactly matched to controls from a pool of about 50 million people in England for personal and clinical...

    Desktop, Phone or Tablet. [POLL]

That didn't sound right to me, so looked at the FAQs "Are laptops included in the desktop platform? Yes. Laptops and desktop machines are included in the desktop platform together. We use the browser useragent to determine the platform and there is not enough information contained in the...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

This doesn't look good "Almost third of UK Covid hospital patients readmitted within four months" https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/01/almost-third-of-uk-covid-hospital-patients-readmitted-within-four-months The article also claims "one in eight had died " though assuming this is the...

    Greed and Capitalism

I think the weirdest claim is capitalism had virtually nothing to do with it, at least not in the free market sense in this country. It got public money to research it (far from exclusively), its only customer in the UK is the NHS (ie the government again) and it has to go through the testing...

    Were you a Mondeo man?

I had a 1999-2000 ish one in about 2006 I got for £650 2 weeks later someone went into the back of it and I got £800 from there insurance and drove it until the MOT ran out, was a great car though the boot leaked from the accident. I then got another for £500 on ebay which seemed to somehow...

    Supermini / citycar

Not driven any of them but was looking at reviews for my nieces 1st car and based on them I would go for the up. It sounds the best to drive and has a quality feel to it. The slowest one is insurance group 1 and £20 tax.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I just got an appointment unexpectedly for a ***. I got a text which I thought was a scam, not having a smart phone I typed the address into google and expecting it to ask for payment or something I ended up booking for a week today. I'm only 43 but they must have me down as vulnerable due to...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

Was this an advance appointment or could they have been offered it to use up jabs before they expire? Do they have a job that could be relevant to it? ie my sister 41 has been offered a *** as she works in care (though not an appointment she has to use an app which rarely has appointments...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I was trying to work out how many cases are coming from non PCR testing and found that the no of cases from PCR testing is higher than the total cases and in some weeks the no of PCR tests is higher than the total no of tests. All data is for England only and from...

Is there something special about boiling?

Cheers for all the interesting replies. I think that pretty much confirms it as most likely the beer was slightly different due to the lower temp. not the lack of boil.

    Covid-19 the second wave.

Just thought i'd share a quick comparison with other countries. I think the data speaks for itself but it is strange how we seem now able to test so much more than anyone and why did France's testing peak really high then drop of for Christmas but then never go up again.
