Fermentation Chamber Build - Heat Source and Holes?

That is genius and I would have never thought of it 👏👏👏

Brewzilla Gen 4 advice and experiences

I've never had an issue with mine either, there does seem to be a lot of hate for it though, generally from people that don't have one from what I have read 🤣

    Next upgrade

From the options listed I would probably go with a fermentation fridge ... But to throw the cat amongst the pigeons how about a kegorator instead?

    Four Priests Brewery YouTube channel

No worries, I had taken my daughter to Bewilderwood and realised in the morning that it wouldn't be much of a detour to pop in for a beer, however there were problems on the roads by the time I left so I am not sure I would have had chance anyway ☹️ Next time I will have to make sure I am more...

    Four Priests Brewery YouTube channel

@chopps is the tap room open today? I know you said in a video that you were opening every weekend in August but couldn't remember if that included Friday's?

Boil Times and how to Know What to Use

I hate to pi$$ in your parade but a quote from this very thread (admittedly not by you) does suggest that anything other than a 60 minute boil will not give a 'decent' beer so group 3 does indeed appear to not be invented and maybe @Agentgonzo is a little bit more clever than you have him credit for

    Boys toy alert...

Wouldn't you need to be dressed in white too though? Would look like this 🤣

    Boys toy alert...

I have been tempted a few times but don't know how I feel about firing salt at high velocity at my TV and windows which is where the flies usually land

    Planning first cider, please help

I think that is the way I am going to go, I have been in 2 supermarkets looking for something suitable to flavour it but can't find anything so I will just experiment in the glass before adding something to the keg. I will also throw some black tea in before fermentation 👍

    Planning first cider, please help

No need to be sorry @An Ankoù, I appreciate the advice 👍 If I am being honest about why I was planning on using the apple and strawberry cordial it is because I had mistakenly thought it was just strawberry until I went to grab the link to put in the post 😂 and then at that point I thought it...

    Planning first cider, please help

Thanks for the info, I haven't bought anything yet but I will look for something without preservatives at the weekend or I will just use it in the keg to taste 👍

    Planning first cider, please help

Good idea, I will do that 👍

    Planning first cider, please help

Thanks for that, I saw that the cordial had preservatives and assumed that boiling would drive those off? The original recipe used a similar cordial that I assumed had been replaced with the one I linked to. I suppose I could add them after fermentation to back sweeten as you suggest 👍

    Planning first cider, please help

Hi all, I am an all grain beer brewer but fancy trying a cider for summer. I am planning on doing a smallish (around 10 litre) brew which will be kegged, force carbonated and served through my kegorator so I won't need any priming. I like the sound of the recipe in the second post in this...

    Aldi electric beer tap

That's fair enough and if you would have quoted my full response then it would show that I said that I know a lot of us wouldn't bother with one (myself included) but as @old dog new tricks and @New To Brew Sort OF have proven it does have it's place. The comments that I was replying to were...

    Oxbar 20l keg kegerator

Just be wary that if it is too cold you can freeze the beer in the lines. I did that when I first set up my fridge, took me a while to work out why the taps weren't working 🤦

    Who is Taylor Swift

I sent this thread to my Taylor Swift mad teenage daughter to wind her up and she has asked if you know that you have inadvertently quoted some Taylor Swift lyrics while bashing her 😂

    Aldi electric beer tap

It's £25, not exactly an extravagant purchase 😂 at that price I can see why people would buy it for the novelty factor. A lot of us have dedicated fridges and probably wouldn't give it a second glance but I can certainly see the novelty of it from someone that hasn't got a beer tap at home

    Kegerator build

I used 3/16 tubing to feed the gas through the drain hole and then have a manifold and secondary regs inside the fridge. The only holes I drilled were in the door for the taps
