Don't forget that cold beer absorbs more gas than warm beer so if you take it out the fridge the pressure may well go up anyway without additional co2 being added

For first few days whenever I'm passing after that less often, after a couple of weeks I probably don't need to add any more. (Maybe 3 times a day initially then every few days after that)

Sounds painful, you won't find any raspberries this time of year. Typically when I go to pour myself another one, the kegs empty, luckily there are a few bottles that wouldn't fit in the keg.

I went off my Totally Tropical after a few weeks, it seemed to me to have a saltiness to it, so it's been sat out in the garage for 4 months and has come good again, tastes amazing, no longer quite as hoppy but still a good aroma, I'm drinking one now, cheers!

Wow, I thought I was bad at 26 brews for the year, good effort. If I hadn't kept notes and was asked i would of guessed about 1 a month so 12 brews. Still don't know where it all goes.

Your correct, once carbonated it will keep the carbonation for some time, it does slowly lose condition, but you can then up the pressure again to keep the carbonation as you like it. I never keep mine connected to the gas, just top up with co2 when I feel it needs it. Give it a go, vent off...

From everything I've read I think you'll struggle to get a good lager pour when directly mounted to the keg unless your tap has a flow control on it? If it has turn up resistance then adjust gas accordingly. Has your lager been force carbonated today or over a longer period of time?
