    turbo yeast

I would imagine this is aimed at producing a very large batch of 7-10% 'clean' wash rather than the 20% wash which is made in the UK for filtering and drinking.

You may have already come across this article, but you seem to be on the right track; http://wineontap.net/?page_id=195

    2 Cans

No not the same, two cans of the same kit made up to 23L will have twice the bitterness as a single can with 1kg of malt extract and the same amount of water. Some people have done them with mixed results. I have lots of kits and no money for extra fermentables at the moment so plan to try...

    Researching home-brewers for TV documentary

Have you seen the program on discovery called "how's it made?" or similar. I couldn't give a flying f&%£ about how a soft mint or a mattress is made but I often watch it... However they have done shows on Guinness and a pilsner do maybe the tiny market is saturated.

    A E B Cornelius style Keg

I could never justify £115 for a 19L keg, im sure you can get two second hand ones from the classifieds for that price, or alternatives being sankey pub style kegs.

    Researching home-brewers for TV documentary

We have quite a few members who have taken on brewing as a commercial venture after time spent at home... I would like to see something which covers the hop farms, malt production.. Maybe even the manufacture of beer kits as well as the commercial craft brewers.

    Boadicea hops

Tesco sell a "craft lager" from marston's dry hopped with admiral and boadicea... I've been drinking quite a lot of it, for £1 a pint!!, and really enjoy it.. Although im unsure how much the hop in question comes through!

Introducing our French Oak Wine Barrels

Welcome! I've read quite a bit about using barrel chips for aging beer and wine. I had been considering aging some 20% sugar wash in some whisky barrel chips or red wine barrel chips... But never got round to doing either

please help to get my Wherry stronger!

I would expect it to be a nice drink at 4%. Ideal for a session ale. You don't want too many strong beers, I've currently got 4 different beers in my fridge, a 7%lager, 2x 7% Christmas ales and loads of 10% imperial stout... I can only manage two bottles on a weekend and im falling asleep .

Where can I buy these bottles? They're BEAUTIFUL!!!

Could you ask the bars to save them for you?

    Who Manufactures Young's beer kits?

When i contacted the sales e-mail address from their website i received a decent response pretty quickly.

    Too much mixture

You need to leave some space in the top of the denijohn to avoid the yeast and solution escaping through the air lock, you can fill a sterile 1 litre pop bottle or similar with the 'must' and store it in the fridge or freezer until the initial rapid ferment has slowed down.

    Car Tyre Puncture... Repairable?

With my last car i was picking up a puncture every other month! i'm unsure if it was because i was buying £20 tires or just a good job i wasn't buying new ones. Either way they could never be repaired because they were near the sidewalls. The new vehicle has commercial van tires which appear...

    I think Ive been "hacked"

Maybe a virus or adware, tablets are quite vulnerable to them.
