Yes. You made that sound like it was a bad thing.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

I’ve been getting into shape for this years golf trip, it kicks off on Wednesday. Time for one more practice round today. Forgot I’d stashed this bottle away up in Castlerock, win win!

    Electric cars.

That’s another very valid point👍 I was thinking just from the environmental perspective.

    Electric cars.

Hydrogen is a great local solution and it will have its place. But that place will be recharging EV’s for wider use and fuelling local transport +\- carbon capture in the immediate area. But that technology is a decade away at least. In the meantime EV’s are a viable functioning alternative to...

6.6% Slight undershoot on OG, but finished at 1.010 as planned.

    Show us your cat

I thought for a minute that a sniper had taken out Riley. Turns out in the end it was a two shot hit.

“Quality control” pint of my Biere De Garde. Complex malts and a bit of peppery spice. Brilliantly clear after 4 months conditioning. I’m happy.

Dark beers from @phildo79 are always a treat, and this is no exception. Superbly crafted coffee stout, a little low on carb but all out on flavour. Silky mouthfeel and vanilla-ish aftertaste. Cheers mate, it’s a belter!

    Zombie knife ban

Thanks chippy. That’s just given me the proper shivers and made me more thankful for my recent life choices!

    Zombie knife ban

What constitutes a zombie knife? The ones shown on the news all seem to have lots of serrations and flared parts to the blade. In my previous life, when I did a more honest and less self serving job, I regularly had to sort out vascular injuries from penetrating trauma. I shudder to think what...

I’ll have to revert to Mrs70 for an answer to that, but I expect she’s most likely sourced an environmentally sustainable refill supplier.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

This really is rather nice. Unfortunately, I put half the bottle to my head while pished last night. I’m savouring the final glass.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

@phildo79’s American Brown Ale. Very tasty, lots of coffee roast flavours, nice bitterness with piney hops. Lovely beer, not a style I’m familiar with, but I like it.

Oh yes, I’ve still got a bottle of Rye-ish Red with your name on it! Just haven’t had a chance to get it posted.

I didn’t know Dyson’s had belts. Unless you’re not talking about my 16yr olds hairdryer that is.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Worse, I know enough members to play Malone for free, I don’t need to enter comps to pick up a half price green fee. Even worse, I played golf at Queen‘s for 6 years (the pleasure of not getting through my degree course in the recommended amount of time🙊). They had a clause that 6 years Uni...

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Hey, you can get your own Porto for £7.50 in Tescos. Or you can enter and win a golf comp where there’s a bottle for the prize. Either way you get a nice bottle of wine, plus or minus having to play a round of golf 😂
