    After you've done a few bottling days you'll get better at leaving the trub behind, don't be afraid to loose a little beer to keep the trub back your beer will thank you :)

    thanks for the replies guys. Mmmbeer I'm definitely going to go AG (i have a friend who works at rubbermaid great source of mash tuns ;P ) the only thing holding me back is my hob won't handle 5g boils, hopefully when i get my range put in my new kitchen the wok burner should be able to handle...

    Here's my first ever beer (chinook ipa), still needs a couple of weeks in the fridge but I couldn't resist whacking one in the freezer to try. I was surprised how good it tastes, caramel and fruit (high temp fermentation but i like the taste) Can't wait to start my Weissbeir this Saturday!

    Thanks for the response Mark the kit came with an auto siphon, so you'd recommend the secondary carboy for dry hopping? I was getting itchy feet and start a Whit in the other carboy ;P
