    Beginners question

You'll be surprised how quickly you can drink through it when its good :) I do 5 gallon batches and now try and have 2 batches fermenting at a time >< (Plus when your friends tend to come round alot more when there's good beer kicking about.......)

    Fermenting

If this helps I use these fermentors really like them (massive too) https://www.brewuk.co.uk/young-s-wide-neck-wine-fermenter-25-litre-2759.html

    First contaminated beer

Maybe some left over sediment hard caked in a couple of the bottles caused the infection? other wise the whole batch should have been contaminated?

    First contaminated beer

I've had the Brewdog one, I liked the hoppiness but found the beer a bit sickley, maybe I need to work up to them :)

my only undrinkable (well undrinkable is a strong term) was a Saison kit, it wasn't https://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/acatalog/New-World-Saison-Beer-Kit.html was it?

    Best commercial beer 2

Beavertown Lupuloid is awesome, super hoppy, 6.7% but drinks like a session beer very dangerous :) (pretty much anything Beaver Town actually...)

    Putting off bottling

that's only a problem if you "are up to something....." :P

    high FG

mashing at 67c shouldn't effect the FG that much should it?
