Coffee additions in a robust roasted porter recipe

Hi seb, ive got a breakfast stout in the fv right now and it smelled awesome going in so ive got high hopes for it once its ready to drink! Id say the flavour imparted in the beer depends on the type of coffee used and god thats a worm hole on its own.. ive tried various coffees over the years...

    Coopers carbonation drops

Ive always just primed in the bottle, sometimes with drops sometimes with sugar. Personally thought the drops were great but im a lazy git.. ive always thought that racking and batch priming in a secondary, sirring in sugar or sugar syrup etc would just add air into the beer that is...

    Minimalist BIAB equipment list?

Cant go wrong with a big ol pot and a good grain bag for your biab setup. I used to mash in and boil 25 lit batches over charcoal in the back garden when i first started! (Couldnt brew in the kitchen because of an induction stove) bear in mind larger batch size (5gal) means way more time to hit...

Hi all, done a couple of brews so far and im noticing quite a bit of difference between the temp on the display and the actual temp of the grain bed while mashing. Recirculation while mashing will help but because the grain basket has solid sides im finding it overflows into the kettle while...

Klarstein mash kettle with free wort chiller 25L for £169.99

Bought myself one of these too, just the 25 lit version. Hooked up a cheap pump for recirc and away i went. So far having a good time with it although doss anyone know if a grain basket that is all mesh would work better than the one with solid sides that comes with it??
