    I had a Young's harvest lager kit knocking about so I just sprinkled that yeast on top and hoped for the best :laugh8: It's the only yeast I had at the time, I've now learnt from the experience and keep a spare pack in the fridge now athumb..

    Hi, I had the same issue with mine, it got stuck at 1.020 iirc. I stirred it, then added 50g of diluted sugar. That didn't do much so I added some more yeast. After a week it finally dropped to 1.016 so I bottled it. It's all good now athumb.. :beer1:

    I Good to hear your Wherry, Nelson's and Admiral's are all very good athumb.. I'm really pleased with my Wherry, it was my first ever batch and I made a couple of rookie mistakes but it's come right in the end. I've only got 5 bottles of it left unfortunately! My Admiral's is just 5 weeks...

    St. Peter's cream stout, I tried the first bottle a couple of weeks ago and although it was alright I can definitely taste the difference over the last 2 weeks. It makes for a lovely pint now 😁 athumb.. :beer1:

    Yeah it's a big contradiction! I did a bit of research on here first and followed the hop sachet instructions, but added it on day 3 just to confuse things even further! :laugh8: I also brewed mine to 23l and it's one of the best beers I've ever tasted! I'm sure yours will be the same athumb...

    First taster of my St. Peter's cream stout. 4 weeks in the bottle and I'm impressed! It could probably do with another couple of weeks but I'd say it's coming along well athumb.. :beer1:
