    Which all in one?

not the only one to say that....worth heeding the advice given....especially as it saves me money

    Which all in one?

I'm tempted to go larger than I initally planned, as perhaps it's best to plan for more capacity than I need just in case I fancy making a large batch in the future. With this in mind I am tempted by this...

    Which all in one?

so, i'm going all in one....it's decided :) but which one?! ok, so, I want to keep the initial budget to £500 all in. From this £500 I'd like to produce 1 batch too. I'm happy buying used, don't mind a little fettle. so all, please help me spend my money :) I have plastic fermenters...

    Anyone in the Beccles area?

Hi Martin, i'm not on facebook, but did attend the last Norwich meeting online. Nice group of guys just need to get brewing now to keep up

    Anyone in the Beccles area?

Have to look them up for sure, like to support local where I can. I’ve spoken with a few from Norwich amateur brewers, but having a local brew buddy would be handy

Suggestions please - starting to put together Kegging kit

you'll use the pressure in the keg long before the brew is all out. 100% will need a cylinder, even if it's a sodastream type deal you'll need something

    All in one - vs - 3v?

that being said.....I drink alot of coffee.... might need the extra hot water :laugh8::laugh8:

    All in one - vs - 3v?

Good to know! I'm avoiding stock pots though but will look for a smaller sparge heater if I don't need such a big one. yeah time is a thing for me too, if I can keep a brew day to like 4 hours i'd be ok, any longer will be tough. My brew day is likely to be a brew evening - kids asleep and...

    All in one - vs - 3v?

Think i'm just going to bite the bullet and order the digiboil and the BZ. I'll use my plastic fermenters for a few brews, see how I get on then maybe move to a conical (once I understand why I need one)

    All in one - vs - 3v?

hahah I'm always undecided when it comes to actually spending money....somethings i'm pretty impulsive with when it comes to opening the wallet, others i'm a little more careful. The trouble is, both are good options - be great if one was massively better than the other haha!! I think a...

    All in one - vs - 3v?

I’m still undecided lol. I like the idea of both systems. Perhaps I’m best to just get a boiler and do a BIAB. And if I make this boiler 3v type one surely I can add the other vessels later?

    All in one - vs - 3v?

ah ok, hopefully get away with something smaller, 7kW does seem HUGE. 2kW i'd be fine, but anything higher would be pushing it - but the the garage is fully insulated etc so ambient will be consistent as i'm installing AC in the new year so will be keeping the room at normal temps

    All in one - vs - 3v?

hmm yes that's a large load through the garage. Would need to put in a new line for that from the consumer. I'd struggle with current electrics then to add this on too. But a new line isn't the end of the world, just another job.

    Sanitiser help

    All in one - vs - 3v?

Yea that's massively impressive!! out of interest, how much did it cost you to make....be careful you might find yourself invited to the depths of suffolk for a brew day and a panel commission :laugh8:

    AG Cooler requirements

ah gotcha, all understood. I think i'm narrowing down my options more and more with each bit of advice given so thanks everyone. I've managed to swap around what we use the fridges for, so my little undercounter is going to become the overflow fridge, and the larder fridge is the new brew...

    All in one - vs - 3v?

I do like the idea of 3V, but I'd definitely want to go all electric. with my very basic understanding of the process, I'd be looking to emulate this: https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/3-vessel-15-gal-electric-brewery but I think there's savings to be made i.e. make my own panels and...
