My 'Red Scare' IPA with Citra, Mosaic & Galaxy. First AG in a long while after a Razorback Kit on Boxing Day 4 weeks in the bottle, 7.5%. It's better than expected despite changing the recipe the night before brewing when I had a few Stout in me.

I hadn't brewed in 6 months so to get back on the Horse gently I brewed this Razorback IPA on Boxing Day. Just chilling here listening to the new album by Thunder & sipping a few. Nice but there's something missing that I can't put my finger on

I tried this & thought it was grand. Clearly I don't know enough about Amber Ale :laugh8: Can you recommend any good Ambers that are available locally? I need to investigate further.

Excellent, I called in on Friday but it was a flying visit & I didn't get time to look around but I saw enough. I think I'll wait til payday next week & load up.

I work in the Waterside, I knew they did some decent beers but thought it was mostly local stuff. Just get in for a jook.

I was in the Whitehouse Offy last week & was amazed at how big the selection was. We moved house last weekend so I think I deserve a Wee treat tomorrow night.

The last of my Lockdown Red IPA mk.1. Turned out nicely but my second attempt was better. What a beautiful evening for Beer & Tunes.

It really is a tasty brew & well worth checking out. The Offies around here keep a good stock of that & the Scraggy Bay.

I genuinely liked it. I had three on Saturday night to start the night & that was enough but he feels the same. He was telling me it's not his normal brew & I couldn't believe how much Hops went into it. My wee Extract Brew didn't come close to it. It does taste like an alcoholic Salero.

I had some too. I did a Bottle swap with him on Friday. 6% it was coming in at.

We'll be a long while waiting for Sun in this neck of the woods. Four weeks of rain is enough i think.

We're moving home shortly so I've had to rethink my brew as I'll not be brewing for a few weeks & I wanted to use up what Hops I have opened previously. So this time it's an IPA with Mosaic, Galaxy & Citra. Fingers crossed.

My first Lockdown Extract IPA. This has been in the bottle for about 8 weeks. I tried it a fortnight go & it was far too bitter for me but the difference in these last two weeks is incredible. I'm brewing my first AG (BIAB) today.

I tried that about a month ago for the first time. Loved it. Usually it's Scraggy Bay for me but that was tasty.

I'm up for this.

They tried it on Belfast last week but the Cops knocked it on the head. Licencing Laws are different (arcane, stupid) over in Norn Iron. Brewers can home deliver eg. Northbound on Derry but can't sell from their premises. The Bars can't do anything though I see the Cosh Bar here s selling...
