2018 Beer World Cup - First Round Match 7

Tough one for me too. I enjoy both beers. Orval takes it for me though. I remember the first time I had it in a bar in Ninove, when a local chap wouldn't let me leave the bar without trying it! There was uproar because the bar tender couldn't find the correct glass!

Saison Dupont. First try of this beer and it's a belter. I've brewed a few Saisons but nothing close to this.

    BIAB bag supplier

I get my bags from BJ Filters on eBay. He will custom make to any size or spec you want if you message him. My custom bags have all been under a tenner and my last one was massive! He made one to fit my coolbox perfectly.

This is a gorgeous beer. I head to Belgium fairly often in my campervan and Tourpes is now on my itinerary for my next visit.

    porridge oats

I really like what 5% porridge oats does to my pale single hop ales. I wouldn't say creamy, but I believe it improves body and head.

    Empty CO2 Canister

Very similar to the baron above. I use my local Adams Gas distributor. £55 fully refundable deposit with no time limit and £20 for a 6kg refill.

    James Morton - Brew

I always use the high alpha acid Magnum or Apollo for bittering at the start of the boil. Save your Citra for the dry hop! Also, you could maybe try adjusting the suphate/chloride ratio of your water to get more bitterness and hop pop, assuming you haven't already?
