What are you drinking tonight 2020.

No sympathy 😁😁😁 Couple of years ago, our local Wetherspoons had Belgian Blue on continously during all of December. (we are not far from Bradfield Brewery) At one point, a nine gallon was lasting about 4 hours 😁😁😁 Knew about that next day also πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

    A reliable S30 valve

I've got the gas posts here, just need pointing in right direction for the safety valves. 😊😊

    A reliable S30 valve

Thanks Buffers Bought a couple of new ones recently online, and that's when the problem started. Wondering now if old stock that's been lying around. Funny thing is my old brass 25 year old ones, with new bands have been fine. Gradually when finance allows I will be moving over to all Corney keg.

    A reliable S30 valve

Sticking valves, inject gas, not over 10 psi, and can hear it coming straight back out. Swopped valves, another one leaking from around the cap seal - the hamleton bard type where the majority of the valve is on the upper side. Just so hard to find a reliable one these days

    A reliable S30 valve

Is it like trying to find unicorn poo or the holy grail. Got 3 replacement s30 valves recently (not the piecing pin type) all miserable fails, different suppliers, different style, all loose pressure. Anyone recommend a supplier and valve that works out the package. Cheers Jon

    Have I created a monster

Just started this kit Gozdawa Belgian Xmas Trappist ale. Single can kit, as per instructions added 0.5 kg Dark candy crystals, 0.5kg Dextrose, 1kg white granulated. SG 1.053 Tasted the wort, very reminiscent of bonfire toffee. 😊 Recommended on the instructions to make yeast up as a starter...

Really chuffed with this. My first attempt at bottled beers. It's festival golden Stag, bottled 26. 11.20. This was the last of the bucket so dragged a bit of the dregs in there. Primed with 2 Muntons carb drops. Nice steady bead of bubbles I'm happy 😁

    Beer kit recommendations

I'm drinking the Young's AIPA at the moment. It's a nice hoppy drink, but even after nearly a month in a cold garage, it's not cleared as I would expect.

    Beer kit recommendations

I'm a Mangrove Jack's newbie (well newbie altogether as I started mid October) on my 7th fermentation at the moment which is the Juicy. Smelled bloody lovely when I mixed it up. Looking forward to it. πŸ‘
