You can use a clean ale yeast, keep the rest the same. 23 is high though for a clean ferment with something like US05. 18-20 would be better.

They are very easy to clean in fact. Warm water, a cleaning solution of your choice and a microfibre cloth. Just the same as any other recepticle.

Pretty sure my oldest PET one is 4 years old now and is still OK so far. I will definitely replace when it fails as stainless pressure FVs are very very expensive. I would never go back to static pressure.
