    Absolutely!

    Pumpkin Beer - 10kg??

Thanks for the replies! Now I read the recipe again (thanks for posting), yes, a 10kg pumpkin will be much less when peeled, de-seeded etc. Good advice not to physically mash!

    Pumpkin Beer - 10kg??

I am planning to brew Gregg Hughes' Pumpkin Ale, using a prize-winning pumpkin that a friend grew. It requires 10kg of pumpkin, roasted for 1 hour. This then goes in the mash. Presumably the 10kg reduces when roasted due to evaporation of water? Still seem like a lot, and hoping it will fit my...

Filtering corny keg into another corny

I had the same problem. I took out the dip tube, and wearing protective gloves sprayed with statsan, fitted a floating dip tube to the keg while full of beer. Worked surprisingly well. Edit: Beer was still in the keg when I did this

I know it seems obvious, but just checking, that when locked in place with the camlock?

    CO2 - S30 or tank?

The size of CO2 tank doesn't make it more/less difficult. I have 6.25kg CO2 and have never had issues using set and forget approach (it's divisive, but it is the only consistent and reliable method in my opinion)

Kit for carbonating ale with cartridges?

I was wondering this too. I would just carbonate it prior to travel, especially as you already plan to use cola bottles and have all the required equipment.

    Carbonating and Dispensing from Corny

Sorry for the delay. Yes, the Malt Miller sell soda stream adaptors for the mini regulator.

    Carbonating and Dispensing from Corny

If I understand your plan, you'll get through a few 16g bulbs to dispense a corny I'd have thought. You'd be better off as a minimum using the mini regulator with a sodastream co2 bottle. What volume is the keg you have?

    flippin raging I am

I had this exact issue, and it was the kegland disconnect that was leaking on top. Discovered as soon as I immersed it in starsan when hooked up to the gas.

Hop Bongs - Are they worth it?

Thanks, that'd be great if you could take a measurement from the lid to top of hop bong.

Hop Bongs - Are they worth it?

How much taller is the all rounder with the hop bong on top? I am thinking of getting one but worried it won't fit in my lader fridge

    Oxygenation of hoppy wort

I shall be fermenting in my fermzilla, more than anything to enable an easy closed transfer. I did see the hop bong from kegland and currently weighing up whether it is worth it or not.

    Oxygenation of hoppy wort

I was thinking about the dry hop. Is it the case that even lifting the lid and dropping them in followed by purging headspace with CO2 would result in sufficient oxygen to cause a problem? Considering any oxygen in the transfer line when transferring would be an issie, I suppose I should avoid...

    Kegland Duotight disconnects

I love these, although I have had an issue with one of the grey gas ones leaking from the top where the red cap is. Someone at my local Homebrew Club has also had the exact same issue with one. Other than that, I like that the line is at 90 degrees to the keg meaning they add little to no height...
