Inkbird ITC1000 faulty / buttons not working

I've search the titles but I cannot find any hits.... Bought an ITC-1000 a couple of years ago and hadn't had the need to fit it. Eventually fitted it 2021 to keep the serving kegerator at 10c-ish. I only have the fridge powered, not a heater. It's been working fine since then until now. No...

Brewer's Invert Sugar - the painless way!

Bearing in mind the title.... I'm confused and hoping someone will summarise thusly: "To make invert sugar, do <insert method>... "

    Lager than life competition

I'm a bit OCD and I like a nicely packaged parcel. I made a nice handle out of packing tape so that whomever moves it had an easy way to lift and shift and keep it upright, as well as the suggested "Fragile - This way up" note. That said, it's entirely possible someone also used it as a rugby...

February 2023 competition - Dark beers

At the risk of swaying results, scoring or feedback, I wouldn't call it conventional :D

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

We were out for posh nosh in the smoke for my birthday. Ordered one of these and it was lovely, considering I don't generally like IPA / hoppy ales. So good that my and my mate ordered a big one. Rock n Roll by Baladin from Italy. 7.5% Not looked it up yet but I'm going to guess this is what...

    Coffee Stout/Porter

I like a well flavoured stout and even though I have pushed the limits in terms of amounts, my experience is that it still only give a faint flavour. This won't be particularly useful to your use case, as I haven't used spent grounds, but I'd imagine needing more / to steep more / longer.

    ADVICE: Water pump

Hello all. I know there is a lot of experience of pumps on here so I'm looking for your advice please. I have a couple of water butts. I would like to attach a pump for two scenarios: - Watering the garden, which I think that is the easy bit. - Feeding a pressure washer (Bosch Aquatak 100) I...

    Another "Infected?" Post

Update IV SWMBO made a spiced rum which we finished over Christmas. The bottle was sat with a vanilla pod in it doing nothing. I nicked the rum soaked pod and poured a couple of litres of my stout into a plastic bottle and steeped for a week. Oh my. Very nice indeed. There is a moral here...

    Secret Santa Reviews 2022

My second SS is a 5% Belgian Pale. I'm not familiar with the style, so i was expecting something like a Leffe Blond or a Belgian Tripel. Small pffft on opening and a nice head. Poured perfectly clear with no sediment so I assume bottled from keg. My first sniff... I thought this was...

    Secret Santa Reviews 2022

Both of my brews have been reviewed and so I can reveal myself. I am the brewer of @Griff097 and @moto748 's Secret Santas :- Leffe Blonde clone which I brewed in September. Credit also to @Cheshire Cat for the recipe. I've done a few Belgian brews and I think this is the best so far. I...

    Secret Santa Reviews 2022

6.4% Plum Sour Nice big pffft on opening. Lovely fluffy head. Tiny bubbles. Some haze and an orange hue. An interesting aroma that I can't place. Musty, but not in a bad way, more a description way. Some friut. Taste is sharp. The first mouthful is, not surprisingly, a little sour.... but...
