    Electric cars.

Well I bought my Kona at 36k and just under 4 years old so reckon it's paid it's dues tbh I will rum into just over 100k. For a 4 year old car it looks fine no obvious issues as you would expect the 5 year warranty is due to run out but the battery has an 8 year warranty. Only complaint is the...

    Electric cars.

i will be honest I did not look beyond that for me it was more about the car and did i like it and the way it drives then the sustainability issues helped swing it, very hard to actually trace all car components, some parts of course will come from China or more likely Taiwan for the advanced...

    Planning first cider, please help

A few have commented that even boiling does not overcome the preservatives, I would play safe and back sweeten as being able to force carbonate you have that freedom.

    Planning first cider, please help

Sorry not an expert here but the cordials have preservatives that will stop the fermentation are you planning to add this after its fermented? As you have the equipment for force carbonate that should not be an issue, let it run to dry then back sweeten? Only part not sure of is if the sugar...

    Fine tuning my cider

well i can't offer first hand experience as my cider is made from fruit juice. If trying to adjust the sweetness as suggested powered sweetener will not ferment and will not be used by the yeast. don't know if relevant but when making wine especially fruit wines I stop it before fermenting dry...

    Electric cars.

haha i would be lucky to fit in my car nah its transport and means to an end, its ok to drive and slightly cheaper to run its just a green choice long term it should break even or be slightly cheaper than diesel. Sadly my employer insist on flying for cost reasons, and tbh when the flight is...

    Electric cars.

Whilst I do not disagree with anything said in the video and I fully accept the environmental damage caused by mining the batteries I was aware of this prior to getting an EV. BUT i chose a model made in the Czech Republic and battery made in Poland, not China (Hyundia Kona) I do over 15k a...

    Aldi electric beer tap

Glad you are enjoying it for the price it was worth a go, I am not a huge beer drinker but as said I find t works well for homebrew stout to make it smoother and give the creamy head

    Plastic bottles

I have mix of Coopers and generic they all work fine the generic at slightly shorter and such stack better in the plastic boxes I store them in. The Coopers caps are better they have a better seal then generic, i use them for beer and cider and find they work fine

    Pubs closing

I try to eat out at a pub and have a few every couple of weeks, but its becoming harder as funds don't stretch and things like a taxi home have really pushed the costs up as well. Point in case was away the weekend at caravan park £6.29 for a pint of cider, sorry not happening in this lifetime...

    Scotch Oaked Mead

some with more knowledge will chime in but generally if you add less it takes far more time likewise if you add more it will flavour faster and with more aggression. Very much depends what you are after tbh
