    Is it ok to drink after 1 week???

    I've only just kegged my first ever home brew on Wednesday and I was wondering if it is okay to drink after a week? I know that I should leave it for 2-4 weeks but I'm off to Glastonbury on Wednesday and am wondering is it ok to take some as I don't want to make any of us ill !!! :hmm:

    Hi guys, Just kegged my first ever brew but I've misread the instructions about priming sugar in the keg, I bottled half of my beer and put the other half in the keg, putting a teaspoon of sugar in each bottle but I read that I should put 80g of sugar in a full keg so half in half a keg,thinking...

    New brewer using a Simply kit

    Just did a gravity reading, measured 1010, had a sneaky taste as well, didn't taste too bad actually, had a developing bitter taste but the texture seemed watery, was very cloudy though. So if I've got things right here, check the gravity again over the next 2 days, if the reading stays the same...
