    Bag in box?

Hello, I'm getting fed up having to bottle and was thinking of trying Bag in Box for my wines. Store in demijohns for a while then transfer to the bags for drinking over a few months. Any one else use these? :hmm:

First and second all grain brews

Hi m8. You can buy an separate regulator that monitors 4 lines or more and you set the PSI on that for each keg, Norman has them I think. I was wondering how to best do this too and I might just keep splitting the gas line with the John Guest fittings.

    #38 - Deuchars IPA - 5th February 2011 (with pics)

Tried my first pint of this from the keg after only 2 1/2 weeks from brew day. Water treatment seems to have made a slight difference that the beer seems more balanced and no harsh tastes. I have to admit it is still young but damn its a good beer and could be my best to date. Polyclar didnt...

Splitting a Liquid Lager Yeast (temperature??)

If i was going to split a lager yeast into a few batches, should i split at the fermentation temp of 10-12C? Ale yeast is easy to split due to the temperatures, but i dont have anyway to control this just now. Cheers

    corney gas question help

I have just had a problem with the gas post leaking very slowly. Used some soapy water over the post to see if there was a leak, and yes there was....very slow one. But if i removed the gas disconnect the keg would leak overnight. So may be best to check the posts for a leak. I keep the keg...

Corny kegs are the way to go!

I force carbed for a few days, it could actually do with a bit more. Just left it at 20psi for 4 days at 5 degrees. To dispensed the beer I used the formula : Beer Line Length Formula: L = P( -(H x .5) – 1 ) / R Where: L = length of beer line in feet P = pressure set of regulator H = total...

Corny kegs are the way to go!

Tried my Saaz lager for the first time tonight and what a difference it has made being in a keg. - Nice and cold - A lot more hop flavour and aroma - Good carbonation level Yes the beer is still cloudy, due to a chill haze and my beers always have been, I just need to get over the stigma that...

    #38 - Deuchars IPA - 5th February 2011 (with pics)

I would agree with that. Had a pint of it on Friday night and didnt think it was up to much. I was actually gonna change the recipe and make it my own, but thought why not give it a try anyway. Fermenting strongly just now using Nottingham. But i think the temperature is a bit warm in my...
