    White Film

Hi there I am no expert by any means but as far as I know if you get a film over the top it is apparently a sign of an infection, which is of course not a good thing. Don't quote me on his one but I would personally avoid. Good luck.

    Girly drinks?

Leg opener.... Interesting ;) Ginger beer isn't a bad one at all but my missus found it too dry so I am experimenting with making it sweeter, more like crabbies basically. Turbo Cider or Tea wine may work, a 30 bottle wine kit should keep her happy for a little while too surely?

    Hello from Slough

Good luck there fella, It is a great hobby to take up, cheaper than most hobbies as it will save you cash in the long run. My old man even drinks the lager now as it actually tastes of something. The youngs harvest is possibly the cheapest beer kit to start with and is perfectly acceptable...

First home brew kit just bought.

Bungo, get a coopers kit on, drinking my youngs harvest now and the coopers lager is nicer without doubt imo... not that there is anything wrong with the harvest (cheaper too) gonna try a youngs harvest with spray malt to enhance and see what that does next :)

    From kits to...um... Help?

I have seen a number of articles on carrot beer and if you can make nettle beer why not I think? I am unfamiliar with what difference it would make, why it is that a grain would make the beer more beerlike than perhaps carrot? or perhaps why grain is the key ingredient perhaps. That is...

    Another Question

    My first go! Coopers lager

by stirring it you would lift all the sediment back up and have a cloudy old mess, that you would have to wait for longer as it would have to settle again. just let it do it's thing and try not to get too excited ;) it is awesome isn't it!! :)

    Cheap beer glasses

I would rather give my boy a glass of organic milk... maybe they should serve that in pubs.... bit of a hippy hence the organic but if they do coffee and tea in pubs why not? (mainly in family pubs obviously)
