The hop additions in Festival Razorback IPA are Centennial, simcoe and summit and they certainly do give it a grapefruity kick which does settle back after a couple of months conditioning :hat:

The Brewferm Wheat kit is six weeks conditioning so while a good kit and would definitely recommend, not the quickest. I would say give a Wilco Golden ale kit a whirl, cheap two can kit, easy as they come to make with excellent results :hat:

Festival Razorback IPA has a very grapefruity kick to it if that is any help :hat:

It will work out cheaper, I only bought this stuff as I was looking for something other than VWP and it was in the LHBS, so I thought i'd give it a try. It did the job but i will be investing in some Starsan in the future at some point. :hat:

When i use it I place it in a pan of boiling water and let it dissolve, it is not that easy to get it to dissolve though :whistle: :hat: Which Brewferm kit are you doing? because in the notes at the end of the instructions it tells you to use an extra 5% if using Candi sugar on the kits I...

Have you got any pics of it because I usually buy it from the LHBS, it looks like a bag of uncut diamonds which i normally dissolve in hot water before adding to my FV. :hat:

I had the same problem and whilst VWP is very good it is a pain to rinse over and over, so for my last bottling session I invested in a bottle rinser and while at the LHBS - Morley home brew, picked up some no rinse sanitiser called Brew Safe it looks like VWP but doesn't leave you gasping for...

Evening Chaps, I bottled this last friday (24th) after about 26 days in the FV it finally got down to fg 1010, I batched primed with 103g of brewing sugar and came out with 39 x500ml bottle + a carbonation bottle. It would have been 40 but the neck collapsed on one of blighters while capping...

I agree with b4dg3r on the Brewferm kits they are very good, I have done several with my favourite being Tarwebier which is probably close to what you are looking for, also the Grand Cru is a lovely kit it's a Belgian style beer and quite strong at nearly 8%.
