Hi Can someone advise me, once fermentation is done, can the brew be left for a while to settle in the bucket with no problems? I assume as the co2 layer has gone air can get at it more easily and so might spoil the beer so should i airlock it ? or move to secondary vessel ASAP? CHEERS

The head is now all gone and its at 1012, guess its done if i leave it for a few days to settle does the lid need to be on tight? cheers

hello i added the yeast to a brew on saturday pm and a nice head formed - but has now subsided to a thin one (its wed am). Is this normal or might it be stuck. Its in a garage where the temp is 20c in the day, but must be dropping quite a bit a night I thought it would take 7-10 days for the...

Hi I will have some malt and hops left from my first brew - how can i store the remainder and how long will they last? LOOKS expensive if you only need small batches of a few types for one brew. cheers :cheers:

i want to move to extract and then later to AG. Anyone think this would be a good buy? http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/aca ... oiler.html seems to mash/boil as well in one. Amd is 5Gallon capacity enough for the boil or does it need extra space? cheers for any help chaps

My beers have (prob too much) sediment in bottle. Yet, my bottles of old hooky/landlord seem to have no sediment at all. Then again my local micro sells bottles with sediment still in. Why the difference?

Just have! Scammandem Dark (Brupacks). Not bad at all. Lovely creamy head that was a pleasant suprise - bit of a lingering :cheers: malty after taste.

Ive been waiting since the 16th and im getting impatient may as well crack one open - not clear yet, but surely cant do any harm to test the brew :cheers:
