how the hell do i set up my new beer tower

You need to hook it up to the outlet side of your keg. much easier if your using a cornie keg than a plastic barrel but it's still possible, then the pressure in the keg will force the beer out of the tap once you open it.

    Homemade budget ventilation system?

Ok pressure wise it should be ok. but you'll get alot of DMS back in your brew, giving off vegetable flavours. you'll need a much lager bore pipe to remove the dms.

    Washing yeast with a centrifuge

Did you remove the trub layers first? And by washing on stir plate what did you actually do?

    Dalex Taps?

I would pull it apart and make sure everything is clean and free from debris and give it a good deep clean whilst stripped , I don't know if you can get spares for these, someone must do some somewhere. But once cleaned and if everything looks ok I'd rebuild it and see if it still leaks. it may...

    TUB TAPS FOR KING KEGS

Tub taps are ok, but can be tight to turn making you move the keg when near empty, and do sometimes just make 3/4 pint of head in stead of beer. Spraklet taps are so much easier to use one handed ;) or even no hands

King Keg top tap alternative float systems.

I used to weight mine with some stainless bolts and nuts, cant remember if it was 2 or three I used M6 bolts. that way it keeps the pipe under the surface and beer only Bolts on the pipe end so the pingpong ball stayed at top.

    Difference between Malts

I'd think it would be a different strain of Barley so not Marris Otter, etc but the basic pale malt most like will be usable, but as to the flavor profiles I couldn't even being to think if they are similar.

    Bottling from a cask

Next time just go straight to bottle or straight to cask, but yes your going to have to prime the bottles and open the lid to syphon. Make sure everything is sterile before touching things.

    Adjusting sugar content

If your kegging for a quick drinker I'd go with the 80grm, if you plan on leaving it a long time then yes drop it down. but as your priming a keg it's not a corny so your not planning on keeping it longer, so go with 80grm but just check the pressure levels every now and then.

    Hello Everybody

Hello, I've been brewing for a couple of years on and off. Gone through kits to all grain, but still go back to kits when time is short. Have stuck my head in here several times but never joined so thought it may be good time to join. Thanks for all the info so far.
