What has been niggling me, is that if i leave my ale in the fermenter for say 7 days and then say 2 or 3 weeks in a secondary, when i then come to bottle will there be enough yeast in suspension to carbonate? my next brew will be in a secondary for 10 weeks, can i still bottle or will i have to...

i am planning a brew on a greek island and looking for some advice. I am only there for a week, so what i was planning was a TTL clone brewed on the 9th April this must then be put into a plasic barrel or cornie on 14th April, as i leave on the 15th and i will not be there again until 1st July...

i put 3 meters of 3/16 beer line on my cornie, just tried to pour a cider and it comes out in a trickle, what can i do, up the gas pressure?

How long will a beer last in a King Keg? Had a couple of pints of a beer i kegged just before christmas and it seems to have passed its best.

i have thrown in campden tablets and PS and it will be kept in the garage, so i can't see it ever fermenting again. so the cornie will take 18 litres of TC at 9% and a litre of apple juice which should take it down to 8.5% abv. Apple flavour would be great, don't want any sweetness though :nono:

PET bottles don't explode, do they :cry: how often would you relieve the pressure??? thanks, think i will add a litre of apple juice to the cornie, will that lower the ABV?

Tested my TC this morning and it is no longer overly sweet, taste's sharp but ok, bottled 4 litres into 4 PET bottles at 1018 i presume this will continue to ferment and carbonate, hid it under the stairs. The main batch, 20 litres finished up at 1016 which is 9% threw in 4 campden tablets...

my atempt at TC has now gone from OG 1084 TO 1024 thats 8% still sweet will let it drop a bit further maybe down to 1014
