    Having just finished my first brewkit and transfered to keg etc, i was wondering if theres any use for 'sludge' at the bottom of the fermenting vessel? This time i just cleaned it out and flushed down the toilet. Thanks.

    Hi everynoe, just to let you all know, i pulled my first pint from the keg just, came out like a good un. One problem its still cloudy? great colour and a surprisingly good taste considering it looks like dish water :D I did all the correct things ie wait two days for same reading waited...

    how much yeast?

    I used the same yeast compound, it went well for a few hours but as lost its foaming head now? the bubbles are still coming off though, time will tell i suppose :cheers:
