    Fireworks sales could be banned.

I wonder how many key word alerts have been triggered on government probes by this threadwink... I remember throwing those bangers in the OP at my mates during Novembers of my youth, not a clever thing to do at all when you look back.

dropped clean cloth into the fv, will it have ruined the beer?

Snap, just put a Pineapple TC on the go and forgot to take the OG before pitching the yeast, oops , oh well. As long as it turns out drinkable.

dropped clean cloth into the fv, will it have ruined the beer?

Agree, Sounds like a good enough excuse to put another brew on.athumb.. It's always worth taking a few readings before pitching. As @DavieC said, it may not be evenly mixed.

    Clearing pineapple TC

Hi all, I've just put a pineapple and apple juice TC on. The Juices are Sainsbury's Apple Juice, and Sainsbuy's pineapple juice, both from concentrate. The pineapple was a little cloudy, so I'm not sure if this will be a clear cider. Has anyone had a success clearing a TC with added murky juice...

    Cleaning your lines

I think I'll order some of those faucet brushed, nice tip @foxbat. Just about to clean my keg and lines ready for the next brew to go in. As mentioned above, I too only wash and sanitize the keg, run it through the line under pressure, then do the same with the keg filled with warm water and...

Disco Forklift Truck Mango Pale Ale

Thought I'd give the Disco Forklift Truck Mango Pale Ale a try yesterday. I don't think I'd go there again, not really my thing. although I will say, after drinking a can of the stuff it made my bottle of Newcastle brown afterwards taste even better than usual.

    Stay puffed marshmellow stout

@Clint, fair shout mate athumb.. TBH I've never heard of a marshmellow ale. I'd give a tin a go, but I've not seen it down this way. The trade supplier that's got it here only goes in slabs of 24.

Doom Bar / London Pride - premium brew kit?

As another aside, when I was at Uni I worked a bar in my summer hols, back in Cornwall. Doom bar was always the cheapest of the draught ales, weak and not really a beer with a lot going for it. Then it was brewed at Rock, wadebridge. I'm suprised it's so popular now. I might nip into Sainsbury's...

Another Summer Pale Ale in the bag.

@Zephyr259 This brew, hops aside was the same as the two previous pale ales, bill weight the same. The difference with this one was i used 20ltrs in the mash tun (more than previously) Left for 2 hours, took off the first runnings and added 10ltrs for sparge. I ran the second running's off after...
