Still, just because we have a point of view does not make it right to throw a shindig that cost us tax payer hecknose how much in tax, and strain on the already overburdened public services, not to mention the loss in trading revenue by the local businesses. Easter is one of the few times a...

    Kit Brewers.

If I'm low on available time to put on an AG brew I'd not think twice about putting a kit on. I get through a lot of beer in my kitchen (not sitting in the corner getting fisshed) for ribs, braised pork, brisket etc etc..and some of the kits have been very enjoyably drinkable too.

    Apple and Red Grape wine

Wow, that fast. No, did not bother with gravity, just put it together as a test. I'll rack off to another DJ today. Do you add the fining before or after degassing?

“Probably not the best beer in the world. So we've changed it.”

Or could be 'At 93 pence a pint, probably the cheapest mildly flavored and highly carbonated water in the world,.

    Apple and Red Grape wine

I put together a Sainsbury apple and red grape wine. Only a DJ full, all seems OK but it's been fermenting for about 5 weeks now. Is this about right for fermentation length. As an ale brewer this does seem a tab long.

    Party protesters

Why the heck have these activists started to block the transport systems in London. Why not go and find a field to go bang their drums in. Looks like all they are doing is peeeeeeeeeing every one off that's trying to go about their working day.

Terrible news about Notre Dame in Paris

Whilst I don't advocate the purposeful burning down of national icons, at least no-one is talking about brexit on the news today.

    Tinnitus

Nicks90 ..Snap. I've had it from my 20s, and I'm in my 50s (early :laugh8:) and I have the same. I used to fall asleep with the TV on all the time just so I could listen to something half decent. Edit...I have something called surfers ear..apparently it's caused by years of being in cold sea...

    Degassing.. confussed

My very first wine, an apple and red grape is coming close to finishing the fermentation. So I'm looking at what to do next. I've seen a few toob vids that suggest degassing the wine before bottling. Is this absolutely necessary as it looks like a right royal pain the the gonads!

    Speed limiting technology [Poll]

Speed limiters and retard rectifiers should be fitted as standard. On the way to work this morning and out come the idiots., overtaking me, ( I drive a SWB van towing a 10ft high and 14ft long trailer) on sharp bending country lanes at stupid speeds. I have the answer to speeding..Get your lazy...

    Speed limiting technology [Poll]

I must say to do break in to a wry smile when I'm out walking the dog and I see morons speeding away from the lights as if trying to get back to the future, only to wack on the breaks a few hundred yards away, for the speed camera, then hit the gas and tear off again only to slow down a few...
