    Hi!

Done two Barons kits - Redwood Ale and Mexican Cervesa - The Redwood should be ready for sugaring and bottling in about a week and I just racked the Cervesa over to the carboy today, so two weeks on that one.. Once I've bottled the first one, I'm either going to do a 'can kit' of another beer or...

Is it best to keep 'like to like' for brewing equipment

Cheers, good to know.. I've already bought a second carboy since I started this.. In fact, I'll have to go and rack my Mexican Cervesa over into it - should be about ready by now!

    Pre-Made or Home-Made Wort?

I got an info sheet from Barons with my brewing kit.. Pre-Made or Home-Made Wort?

Hi, I'm new to brewing, so I figured I'd get some opinions.. Also don't know if this is an option in the UK as I'm in Canada. I've started a couple of batches (Redwood Ale and Mexican Cerveza) from pre-made wort kits made by this company called Barons. I haven't had a chance to sample it yet...

    Hi!

New poster - I'm a British ex-pat now living in Canada - and I'm new to brewing as well.. The wife got me a brewing kit for Xmas, and as I'm currently unemployed I've found time to sit down and have a play.. Got my first two batches of ale on the go!
