    my 1st tandoori chicken

Should try making your own peri peri marinade it's easy and the taste is defiantly worth it. When the sun arrives I thing I'm going to spatchcock a chicken and BBQ it with a marinade. Might even buy a brush and keep pasting it with flavour :D

    Possible corny keg problem?

Will probably need a new poppet mate. If you have a 22mm spanner take it of and compare it to the gas side valve. Just an idea :thumb:

    1st rack 1.012... Did I do bad

should be fine mate. From what I no your fg should be about a quarter of your og. So if you started with 1040 expect to finish with 1010. But I am a rookie so may be wrong. How long did you ferment for?

    water ph

Hi im trying to get as much knowledge as possible before i make the jump to ag. i have read a few things on the water ph but each time it gets a bit to scientific for my tiny brain to understand  Can any one simply explain how to test your ph and what you do to correct it. Preferably in...

    corny keg problem

cheers for the response mate. i put it under 50 psi pressure last night and sprayed around and the pressure seemed to dissapear fairly quickly. but as there is not much head space and the beer is super cold could it maybe just be that it is being absorbed. it frustrates me being a rookie some...

    corny keg problem

semi working freezer as kegerator or fermenter ?

Well from someone that is a refrigeration engineer I would say it either has a gas leak or the compressor is on its way out, either way it won't be a cheap fix. Would be better to wait for something else mate

Coopers Mexican Cerveza OG too low

I wouldnt say that it will be a disaster. First of all check that your hydrometer is correct. I think you check it in water that is 20c and should read 1000 (Im also quite new to brewing) If so then all you can do is add additional sugar. I think when I made the cooper mexican cerveza its og was...

    CO2 help

Can any one help me. I have been looking everywhere to source a co2 bottle where I don't have to pay rental to use with my corny keg. Im from Milton Keynes so any where fairly local would be preferable. Also Im getting confused whether I need co2 or mixed gas. I will be mainly brewing ales and...

    First brew help!

Hey buddy Im reasonably new to brewing too and was just as worried as you. As already mentioned i would almost guarantee that the lid isnt sealing on you bin. if you can see activity then im sure it will be fine. I eventually changed to a demi-john as you always get a tight seal and you can see...
