    Brewed a Harris premium lager and it fermented well so i transfered it to a second fv and added the finings. left if for couple of days and its pretty clear tastes ok too but it has lots of little bits just suspended below the surface. Anyone have a clue what it could be?

    Hi all ive done a few brews now but this is the first time for using a corney and co2 so i have a few questions.Im going to keg the lager as i only have co2 at the mo so gonna bottle me stout until i get my mixed gas sorted. Tested the gravity over the last three days and it stayed the same...

    Thanks for the info chaps. So im gonna start putting them in after ive racked to another fv for a better result, As the first batch i put the finings in the fv and then strait into the bottles.

    I'm currently brewing my second batch of stout. The first batch i used finings because my HBS told me to. Now this may be a stupid question But thinking about it do you need to use them in a stout as its so dark that you cant see through it anyway? :wha: :wha: :wha:
