    Is it normal for my regulator to make a constant hissing noise??? this is the first time i have used my corny keg which i bought from norm a few weeks ago and im not sure if its supposed to do that. It sounds like its coming from the grey bit that screws onto the regulator and the grey pipe...

    WOW :shock: I didn`t think it would be that long. When its finished fermenting will you rack it to another bin for secondary??? if so how long will you leave it before bottling/kegging???

    OK thanks Mark. i read that lager yeasts take longer to ferment due to the colder temperatures, is this true? if so how much longer?

    OK so curiosity got the better of me and i`ve just been and put the hydrometer in the FV, ( sanitised of course ) it was at 1.016 at 13 degrees C i hope to god its not finish yet. :(

    I too ordered the whole cornie set up from norm a few days ago, just the one keg though as im a pauper at the moment. Im so excited i actually cant sleep at night lol (i know its sad) i hope it comes tomorrow.....
