A masters of malt Invergorden 2002 single grain whisky. 48.2% of absolute heaven.

Something my wife brought back from her conference in Belgium that I didn’t drink earlier due to advent beers. There is a much more obscure second beer coming up later this week I expect!

This is one of my “good” whiskeys. A 12 year old rum cask finish single malt. It’s fantastic and the price was well worth it. Beautiful drop.
I'm on Rum this evening.

I suppose in the scheme of things, it was actually cheap as craft spirits go - £39.

Having a wee Märzenbier at the airport waiting on the flight home. It’s actually quite nice.
Had a day off the pop yesterday so on my second of these and it’s rather a nice pint.
Trying some of the little bottles I got, very nice indeed
After a foggy dog walk and a stop in at the outlaws on the way home for Guinness and Abbot ale and nibbles I'm now home and cracked my first beer off my kegging attempts. The Tribute clone.its Been on the gas at 10 psi for exactly 3 weeks. A bit foamy to start but I soon got the hang of the party tap.

A pint of what was meant to be a Czech Dark Ale (if such a thing exists) to start this evening. It's been in the keg for quite a while, certainly seems to be getting better over time.
I’ve one secret Santa beer to sample but I’m a bit under the weather today. (Man flu, proper dose).

Second pint now...one thing I definitely notice is a change in mouth feel,seems "fuller"? Also tastes and smells "juicier "...more like pub beer.

That flu is a nightmare to shake off. Ran through my house floored everyone. Had to drink lots of whisky to keep it in check. I suggest you do the same

Also been full of flu, it's been a week, haf the day off the booze yesterday and smashed the flu plus, and ibuprofen back to back and feeling much better for it.
So time to catch up on Xmas beers as its been a bit of a poor show from me.
