After a Brett pale and a Belgian golden ale I have decided to have a big glass of My porter. This is spot on
Sadly, I've had a day off beer. I'll be smashing it again tomorrow.
My pal is coming round. We're going to be sampling the secret santas. In addition, I have some out of date Belgian beers (which are strong, so will be perfectly drinkable) and a couple of other beers that I've been saving. Including a 11.5% imperial stout. I'm not working on Friday
Today was brought to you by Bucks Fizz, Dark Horse Chardonnay, Jam Shed Tempranillo and now, a Glenmorangie as the wife kindly bought me a bottle.

Happy Christmas to you all. I had a lovely day. Did a parkrun this morning with my Cocker Spaniel. Had an Irish Fry up breakfast afterwards and cooked a butterflied leg of lamb on my Weber Charcoal BBQ. Weather was so mild I sat out in the garden with my speaker, favourite play lists and wife. Drank beer, a beautiful bottle of red wine, and finally a couple of Brew Dog Beers. Happy Christmas everyone

SWMBO'd did a Delia spice crusted salmon,
I supplied this posh white Burgundy bought a year or so ago in Carrefour.
Suffice it to say, sublime as a combo.

Only joking @Druss , I know nothing of such matters. I'm sure it's lovely. And I'm one to talk as you shall see.
In the meantime, I have reached the stage where my palate is completely jaded and so I bought some lager for a couple of lagers and lime. I was surprised to find that Kronenbourg 1664, while far from excellent, was surprisingly acceptable and I drank the 2nd half litre without the lime. I remember it being quite ghastly! I note that the beer here is 5.5% abv while the same brand on Tesco online is only 4.6%. What's all that about, then?
