The temperature in my garage now stays circa 15 Centigrade. Any recommendation for a lager kit that will work at such a temperature? I intend to brew under pressure and, ideally, want to make a German or Czech style lager/pilsner
Many thanks

i just brewed a great helles
8 lbs of pilsner
2 lbs of vienna
.25 lbs acid malt

mashed at 148 for 60 mins. mash out 168 for 15 mins. sparged with 170

90 min boil
2 ounces of HM at 60
1 oz saaz at 10

i have done this with 34/70 under 12 psi at 69 and it came out greast i have also done it wihtout pressure at 59 and its just as good or better.

edit sorry i just saw you wanted a kit rec. i like the coopers european lager kit it actually has a lager yeast in it and i have done it at 59 with great results.

You can use any lager kit, generally the more expensive the better the end result. However a lot of them come with ale yeasts for fermenting around 20°C but you can just substitute that for good Pilsner / Lager yeast and follow the lagering process.

Will it work if I brew at 14-16 degrees? Will it not be too high temperature?
