Monthly bottle share - maybe too many for 6 drinkers?
Turned out to be a lot left over for next month. I suffered a lot from aroma carry over between beers. Unexpected standout for me was the pint I bought on arrival- Dark revolution only keep 1 beer on cask but it was a superb pale ale.

One of these as a loosener before watching a bit of the us election, usually a big fan of most things Adnams, but not this one. Horrible, taste old and stale.

Trying a flat best bitter.

Had awful trouble transferring from fermenter to keg, Counter pressure filled a bottle during transfer to see how the flow was going.

Must be something wrong with my duotight disconnects as swapped to JG and worked fine after than.

Clarity not great so not sure my yeast blend worked as intended. Have added some brausol into the keg.

Beer is perfectly pleasant. Toasty, not too sweet. Could do with a bit more hop aroma. Perhaps a touch too bitter just on the finish.

Aroma being down and the bittering up can go hand in hand.
It can be either a longer boil than intended, or if using a post boil/whirlpool type hop addition for aroma and the temperature was hovering too high at around 80°C.
Extra bitterness will result from both.
Sounds like it's still beer though! 🍺
