First brew back today after a summer of dealing with keech to teh point I have a beer famine..
I have a CML Clone Deuchars IPA in the boiler as I type.. Their recipe calls for a sachet of CML Beor yeast, but all I have is a sachet of Novalager .
I gonna use the novalager as a) its all I have and B) im in a bit of a hurry to replenish the keggerator. so its getting fermented under pressure c) Im not a purist.. If I like teh taste and it gets me merry then Im happy.
anyhow the question is more what should I expect from it as an IPA using novalager yeast. am I gonna end up with an Uber crisp hoppier than id expect lagery beer?
