I think a Greek salad is the best thing you can have in hot weather, obviously much nicer when it's next to a nice beach as well 
Raspberries & strawberries direct from the plant on a PYO farm.
Strawberries picked warm with sun on them. Raspberries cooler, on the shady side of the cane.

I’d cooked a spag Bol ready for the wife coming home from work yesterday.
We both agreed that this was not appropriate food for the weather and into the freezer it went.
She went to morissons to buy something more appropriate, and came back with bbq ribs
