But the deepest of hop character.

Yes, a nice malty lager. What makes a Winterbier, not sure. Like a Märzen. Perhaps named because its brewed for winter.

My wife is on the sours. Bought her a box.of vault city for mother's day. She wasn't impressed by the gift and thought I had bought myself more beer, but she is enjoying the beers.

BBE Aug. '22.
Surprisingly absolutely fine for it's age.
A hoppy India brown ale.
Just like it says on the can.
Edit:
On 2nd thoughts, probably a hoppy amber ale as it didn't have that sweetness I associate with (Newcastle aka 'Newquey') brown ale.

Had a couple tonight before and after prepping for a brew tomorrow.
First sample of my own best bitter earlier (light and thin glass make it appear lighter than it really was)

Now having a Lord Marples. First time I’ve tried this. I approve

Preprandial of my Camden (not so) pale ale.
I'm loving this US hoppy style beer.
It came out too dark because the Munich malt used wasn't the pale variety.
For my last iteration of this I intend to substitute pale Maris Otter for the Crystal malt in the recipe.
But not yet. I still have slightly too much beer in casks in the garage to brew any more at the moment.
