I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I watch a lot of beer related videos on Youtube. I've noticed that we have threads for sharing the videos that we make ourselves, but I haven't found a thread for sharing interesting videos which we have found. Maybe this page could be used for sharing links if you all are interested.

I'll start with a few here...

Megafactories: Guiness. This is a somewhat interesting video about the inner workings of the Guiness plant.

The Beer Hunter This is a classic 'must view' series.
Burgundies of Belgium

The Fifth Element
[youtube:jlzloaew]cHthB-FOhuQ[/youtube:jlzloaew]
California Pilgrimage

The Bohemian Connection

Best of British

Bobby From NJ I've found this guys videos to be helpful.
Especially this one on the mechanics of mashing.

Brewing TV They have loads of videos on all things brewing.
http://www.youtube.com/user/brewingtv

Here's a great BrewingTV episode about a homebrewer with his own coolship.:

I'll post some more later, but I'd also like to see what you guys are watching.

Beersmith Like the software. I haven't watched many of their videos, but they seem to get a lot of interviews with prominent authors.

BasicBrewing These guys have a few interesting videos. My favorites are the tour of the saki brewery and the one on brewing with chilli.

TheBrewingNetwork This is radio and not video, but still pertinent. The first 15 minutes of every show can be skipped. Skip until after the first advert break. The Jamil Show and Brew Strong are the best. The Sunday Session rambles a bit too much.

Here are another couple of youtubers I've spent some time watching:

Joe AKA Terpishorean Kid
https://www.youtube.com/user/terpsichoreankid?feature=watch

I watched a lot of his extract videos when I first decided to start brewing. They were very informative, and in the end I felt I could skip extract brewing and jump right to all grain since I felt like I had already done it after watching his videos.

I remember I especially liked this one:

His videos are highly recommendable for people who are just starting out.

Also, I enjoyed this guy Dave Pratt's series on how he does all-grain.
[youtube:ch2rfsuu]XTfnlCA3v1w[/youtube:ch2rfsuu]
It gave me the confidence to explore doing AG.

And this guy inspired me to explore going all electric.

I really enjoyed the Guiness video, I've been round the brewery in Dublin but you only see the old building and not the actual working brewery so it was really good to see.

Will be working my way through the other vids in times.

Here is an hour long documentary on the history of brewing in America:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8k-A2iaawTE
It's a pretty solid overview and worth a watch

Here are the extras from that previous doc:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Srvu6dz2MtM
Also worth checking out if you liked the main one

Another called "How Beer Saved the World":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdwYjFnFoJU
It's been a while since I've seen this one, but I remember walking away from it thinking that it was mostly entertainment and lacked any sort of serious historical weight.

Another on the history of whisky:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTHUyu-vXdQ
Meh. It's mostly just a tour of a bunch of popular distilleries.

And another on beer in America:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLXRBJHXTQQ
A bit characteristic of the over-the-top, cartoony docs which the 'History' Channel puts out.

Another 'History' Channel doc with more of a focus on craft beer in America:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DbPUtXtudE
From 2008, so it's slightly dated.

Beer Documentary from How Stuff Works:

More of the same, but better than the previous two links. The wife and I plan to make a trip to the Chodovar beer wellness spa featured in part three. Maybe sometime in the next year.

Oz and James's Big Wine Adventure
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0BB9337D2BFCF120
These were fairly entertaining. They follow Oz Clarke and James Maye through France and California while they learn about wine regions. James Maye's character in the French episodes is a little too annoying at times, but it gets more tolerable by the time he gets to California. I imagine that he isn't this childish in real life and that it was just how he was directed to act for the show. The California episodes are a bit more informative as well.

There is also Oz and James Drink to Britain, but I have yet to watch them.
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9FE7522DE1107B7B

There is a series with Oz and Hugh Dennis where they go around Britain and collect drinks to run their own bar for a night. That is rather good.

Anyone see the first episode of Brew Dogs? In it, the brewmasters from Brew Dog go to San Diego and build a homebrew set up on a train. It's fairly entertaining, but not really educational. I haven't yet found a youtube link, but here is a VidX Den link. Just enter the red "Solve Media" code in the middle and avoid clicking all of the pop-up links. It will take you to another page and then just click the play button in the lower left of the video. You'll get some pop ups on your way to the video, but it will stop once the video starts. I've never gotten a virus or anything from these things either.
