Youngs handy airlock?????

I've was looking at the homebrew section the other day and saw that youngs make two types of air lock one bubble type and one "handy air lock" I'm puzzled as to why this is a handy air lock if anything it's less handy as there are two parts to it.
Am I missing something here?

Oh I think they are quite handy, they are great to use, easy to clean and much quieter than the standard bubbler if you've got a few brews on-the-go.

I like the noisy air locks I find it comforting.
Must just be me then.

They are also handy as they are not as tall as normal bubblers, so if you are tight on space height wise they can be beneficial.

yeah but they aren't as cool as the proper traditional glass ones. Space issue is definitely one to consider but I love proper glass airlocks. You can even watch the bubbles build up the pressure before the 'pop'
