You're looking to move house and part of your criteria is whether the garden is big enough for a decent brew shed/man cave or whether there is a room in the house you can convert to the same.

I've found a couple of possibilities but nothing that ticks EVERY box yet :-?

I'm in exactly the same position. I've been trying to think of ways to tell SWMBO how nice it would be to move out of the city and into the countryside.

Hahaha I don't even own a house yet and the girlfriend already knows that it has to either have an outhouse for brewing or room for A GRP Kiosk or similar!

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. As and when I make my next house move this will be an essential.

Quite jealous of a mate at work who bought a house a few years back with a "workshop" at the bottom of his 1 acre garden. This workshop is actually the previous owners attempt at building a small holiday let, but it could not be sold as such as it was never given planning permission to become a habitable dwelling. It's pretty big, has water, drainage, electricity etc. Would make an ideal home brew pub and probably plenty of room for a snooker table or cinema or both. He doesn't drink but is well into woodworking so it is being used as quite a substantial workshop.

Nice house too and a double garage with a room over it. Plenty of scope for all sorts.

One day

this is the problem isnt it, hobby/house , because your not going to be aloud take over the whole of the kitchen area when it comes to bottling too often id imagine

I just got back from Halfords, having spent a small fortune on bikes, at SWMBOs request of course. First thing she says as we get in the door - "you're going to have to clear away some of your brewing stuff so that we can store them".
