Hi all
I was about to make up a wherry and found there to be only one 6g packet of yeast. I have a spare packet of yeast from a coopers stout and was wondering if it would be suitable?

Yeah I've made a few coopers stouts and like you say it goes off like a rocket. So, it seemed a shame to waste it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Sometimes a wherry yeast needs all the help it can get!

Yours must be an old wherry. @Chippy_Tea got woodfords to add an extra yeast sachet. They even boast about it with a little sticker on the box saying "now includes two sachets of yeast" or some such

Yeah I remember.
I got them from Wilkos so possibly old stock. I picked up two kits and one had 2 packets the other one.
