I was thinking on my next starter. Instead of washing yeasts at the end of the brew I was going to make a super big starter and then take half of it and put it in the fridge. Would this work instead of washing at the end?

Of course and the benefit is that you will still have a primary strain :thumb:

Edit and no trub and will sit under teh starter it began with
