yeast

evening all. :

my latest brew is now in the bottleing bucket (waiting for the finnings to finish) and mid week ill be starting another youngs bitter kit. on this one ill be using a dark spray malt, as i did on the G S Export. and yet again it was another 150 mile round trip to get it. :grin: . what i was wondering was, will it be better if i rehydrate the packet of yeast? or just add it to the mix dry.

There has been some discussion on the forum about the merits of rehydrating or not and IIRC the general feeling was most people just sprikle dry and it's fine.

Thats what I do with dried yeast..
